Prayer Log

Thoughts for the day:

God is willing to answer prayer:

"Which of you if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish will give him a snake? If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask Him? (Mt 7:9-11)

God is able to answer prayer:

He saved three followers from the firey furnace. (Dan. 3:17)
He kept Daniel safe from the lions' mouths (Dan 6:20-22)
He is able to save completely those who come to God through Jesus. (Heb. 7:25)

Prayer ushers me into the very presence of God where He is willing and even (yes) eager to hear my prayers. He forgives me through Jesus sacrifice, and grants my petitions according to His good and perfect will.

"He is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine," (Eph. 3:20)

So why would I not pray?
